Thanks for the info. I just ordered the DVD. I’ve seen a few eps. since its been on but I could never get into becaue I’m in college and we don’t have the WB network so I could only watch when I came home for breaks.

  • no prob, that’s my job 🙂 Enjoy the DVD… I guarantee that you will love every minute of it! Be sure to let me know what you think when you start watching!

  • That is one kick-ass price. I’d been considering it for a while, and I finally gave in. If only they’d release more seasons on DVD! Do you know if they have any plans to do so?

  • According to Rina Mimoun (executive producer of Everwood)

“Focus your letters on the DVD possibilities. From a business standpoint, we didn’t have a fantastic run with our first season, but we distributed them close on the heels of when we premiered. If we had a little more time to get the rabid fan base we have right now, I feel we would have a really great run with DVDs. But again, there are a lot of powers that be much higher than myself who made the decisions. I’ve begged and pleaded!”

Hopefully the WB will come to their senses and at least give us the DVDs

  • I hope they let them onto DVDs coz us in Britain haven’t even seen Everwood season 3 let alone season 4! And I’m a realy big fan and I really want to know and see how it ends.

Rina Mimoum also suggested this as a way to get the DVDs:

tvshowsondvd.com said that WB has NO plans to release the rest of the series. I don’t have much hope. Pretty much all the die-hards have the DVD’s, so who else is going to purchase the 1st season to push it over the edge and get us the rest of the seasons on DVD?

  • Common Sense

I’ve never purchased a DVD in my life until today, when I ordered Everwood Season One from Amazon, where it’s currently the 8th most-popular buy. What else can a person do? I would’ve forked over my credit card for ALL FOUR seasons, if they’d been available. I’m sure the loyal EW fans would do likewise, now that the network has killed the series. Funny thing, shouldn’t Warner Bros. be proud of such an acclaimed series, and market it as such? Instead they get rude with viewers who simply want to PURCHASE their show? What the #&!@$?? No wonder they couldn’t sustain a TV network on their own. The customer’s always right, guys…we hold the remotes and the cash to spend on YOUR product. Do you want to offer it to us nicely and make the profits, or shall we simply pop in a tape and get it all for FREE when it debuts on ABC Family? Your choice.

  • Common Sense… congrat on your first DVD purchase! It’s worth every penny! (really, your first DVD?!?!? WOW!) If you’re looking for a second one, I highly recommend Aaron Sorkin’s shortlived Dramedy SPORTS NIGHT – it’s also worth buying and one of those shows you can watch over and over again.. assuming you’re an Aaron Sorkin fan!

  • NO plans to release the DVDs………well that sucks. How the hell am I ever gonna see seasons 3 and 4?! They won’t even show them here in the UK!
