[SPOILER ALERT] Some photos have surfaced online from the set of PRISON BREAK (currently filming season 2 in Texas). While I could post some photos of everybody’s favourite Excaped Convict – Wentworth Miller, I think the pic I choose is far more interesting. What’s this? Sara (Dr. Tancredi) getting make-up applied? Could this mean our favourite Doctor survived last season’s shocking finale? Is this a flashback? Only time will tell. Needless to say, this TV addict will be tuned into the August 21 premiere.

theTVaddict Rewind: TINY TOONS
How much do I miss TINY TOONS? Every day at 4pm I remember running home from school to catch TINY TOONS. The smarts of Bugs & Babs, the ego of Daffy, the animal crazyness of Elmira, Taz, Max, each and every character was brilliantly written. The show was so much more than a kids cartoon. For a trip down nostalgia lane, check out the opening theme below. (How much am I LOVING youtube.com lately?!)

America’s Got Talent: Sydney ‘The Kid’
This may surprise long time readers of this site, but I’m actually going to take a moment and talk about (no, not THE VIEW), rather REALITY TV. Generally I’m not a huge fan of Reality TV. With the exception of season 1-3 of Survivor and Season 1 of the Apprentice, I find Reality TV unoriginal and contrived. That said, you have to check out this clip from AMERICA’S GOT TALENT. Syd ‘The Kid’ is an eight year old comedian. Let me say this, there is no way this kid is writing her material. But it’s a short, and really funny clip (worth procrastonating from work for two minutes!) So take a look, and prepare to laugh.
THE VIEW Controversy Continues…
Did I ever think I’d be spending so much time blogging about THE VIEW? Certainly not. But the sad truth is, with rerun season in full swing, THE VIEW’S backstage catfights, antics, and PR stunts are the most exciting thing on and off TV.
It was inevitable, with the Queen of Nice [Rosie] returning to TV – the VIEW’s stage wasn’t big enough for the two of them. Thus, Star Jones announced the inevitable on today’s show, that she’s be leaving the gabfest she helped start nine seasons ago. Of course the story doesn’t end there. Apparently, Star feels she was fired from her gig. In fact, she told PEOPLE today “I feel like I was fired.”
Star’s interview with PEOPLE is the first in what will no doubt be an entertaining catfight played out in the media spotlight. Barbara Walters defended the show in an interview with the NEW YORK TIMES. “They had done a great deal of research, and her negatives were rising, Not so much because of what she did on the air. It was things she did off the air. The audience was losing trust in her. They didn’t believe some of the things she said.”
Who knew THE VIEW was so entertaining? This TV addict will certainly be watching in September. Of course, the show would have been way more entertaining with Star AND Rosie sharing the stage!

My Take on TV
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”
I love Emmy season. I am addicted to the Emmy gossip, and the Emmy dresses, and the Emmy nominations, and the Emmy flack when someone we wanted nominated didn’t get nominated. My addiction to the Emmys compares only to my addiction for TV.
This year’s voting process might result in many ties, ties that might cause us to see 6-8 nominations in categories where normally we only see 5. Various voters nominated their top ten shows, and those 10 shows are then viewed by a small “blue-ribbon” panel that determines, based on Excellent, Fair, and Poor ratings, what nominations we will see. There’s a big chance that the shows that garner critical acclaim, but low ratings, will shine, and the shows that get big audiences, and dismal reviews will no longer be the only frontrunners.
That said, today begins the first of many columns dedicated to what should be nominated, what will be nominated, who should be nominated, who will be nominated, and what people we should expect to fake grins and giggles come July 6 when their name is left off the list.
The View Losing it’s Star?
Rumours are abound that Star Jones is going to announce her exit from THE VIEW this week. With Rosie all set to come on board, word is that THE VIEW’s coffee table didn’t have room for both strong personalities. Barbara Walters declined to comment. This TVaddict’s question: How long until Star shows up on Celebrity (insert reality shows name here).
