As the saying goes… just when I think I’m done with this show, it sucks me back in. Take a look at this clip previewing an upcoming January episode of SMALLVILLE. The episode, entitled “Justice” features what seems to be the start of the infamous “Justice League.” A number of DC Comic heroes (not to be confused with NBC’s Heroes!) will be making an appearance to help Clark fight Lex [and his army]. The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Green Arrow — are all set to appear in “Justice.”

While SMALLVILLE executive producer Al Gough has denied that a spin-off is in the works, one can’t help but assume that if this episode does well enough in the ratings, one can’t be far behind.

Oh dear god… this is mentally retarded. Smallville used to be about Clark growing up. Now its turned into “Justice League”, even though Al said that they would never go that far. The show is becoming almost as pathetic as 7th Heaven is now. I switched it on briefly last week and the Eric was talking to a bunch of dead people……. Yeaahhh

I actually can’t wait for this ep. :D Smallville was getting kind of old and repetitive, so… :)

I gave up on this show years ago but after seeing this… I’m sorry it took me so long.

When I saw this promo live I was going nuts. I LOVE the Justice Leauge and I loved Cyborg and my favorite DC Hero is the Flash. This is going to be awesome and I hope they do make a live action Justive Leauge, that would be so cool.

    Smallville Rocks. 7th Heaven SUCKS.

Does that mean our friend Beaver Cassablancas will be retuning as the Flash?

I really cannot wait for this episode. What I’ve loved about Smalliville is the whole comic book hero aspect of it, not the romantic complications like Lex/Lana, Clark/Lana, Clark/Chloe/Jimmy, etc. (though I do love any Clark/Lois scenes). I hope the rest of the season continues to focus on Clark becoming Superman as we know him. And of course I can’t wait to see Beaver (I mean Cassidy) back on TV again!

Frank, I’m wondering that as well. The preview is too short to see if Beaver returns as the FLASH. I’ll email my friends at the CW and let you know if I find out anything!

I’m pretty sure I’ve read somewhere that Beaver/Cassidy will be in the episode playing Bart Allen (Flash)… and I thought I did see a quick glance of him in the promo (but I could just be seeing things, too!).

Just wanted to add that the CW will air the Smallville episodes “Run” (w/ Flash) and “Cyborg” on 12/28 and “Arrow” and “Aqua” on 1/4/07. They’re really building up the Justice League episode!

I’m pretty pumped about this storyline. Like some of the others, I’m bored of the whole love triangle thing. I thought he should have dumped Lana for Chloe a long time ago and be done with it. Now I just want to see some action. I want to see Clark and Lex really battle. Toss in some other future JL’ers and you’ve got something really cool.

I’m not sure how a JL series would play. Not really interested in the “plot to take over the world” of the week. I’m just hoping for a nice 3 or 4 episode run on Smallville that builds up to a huge battle.

Smallville used to be a Clark Kent soap opera type show, and that is what made it great. Now its just turning into an action beat-them-up type show. Plus there is rarely any cliff-hangers anymore. I don’t really care about tuning in next episode. I do anyway, but its not going to get new fans like that.
