Jenny’s This Week on TV

Ahh, visit from the in-laws coming up this week, so the hubby & I get Friday & Saturday nights to ourselves. We’re going to celebrate Valentine’s Day Friday Night and go out to the movies with the huge, comfortable seats and waiters with menus for dinner and dessert along with popcorn & regular movie fare in the balcony seating. Tickets are $16 each! But it’s SOOOO worth it. Then Saturday night, we’ll spend on the couch catching up on TV from this coming week. I can’t wait!

Sunday, if you are a fan of Broadway, check out Grease: You’re the One That I Want on NBC at 7/6c. It’s 2 hours, 1 Danny and 1 Sandy must leave, the 12 remaining contestants perform singing and dancing routines and Tony Award winner Andrew Lloyd Webber serves as a guest judge.

Then stick around for The Apprentice: Los Angeles at 9/8c. The candidates must harvest honey and face swarms of bees; one team competes without its leader; the winners play basketball with former NBA players Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and James Worthy.

    Watching Brothers & Sisters now….

How could I have not recognized Margot Kidder earlier? She resembles Nora Dunn (I think) from SNL & Designing Women. And the years haven’t been exactly kind. Compared to the new Lois Lane (then or now), it’s kind of shocking she ever got the film role.

But still…she’s like a living icon of sorts; it was cool to see her on Smallville, and it’s cool to see her firing up a doobie.
