Kristen Bell to Narrate GOSSIP GIRL

With reports of The CW canceling VERONICA MARS, fans of Neptune’s most loveable PI can take heart in this piece of exclusive news from Entertainment Weekly:

CW’s buzzed-about new drama GOSSIP GIRL, based on the best-selling teen book series, will feature voiceover narration by none other than… Kristen Bell as Gossip Girl herself. No word until Thursday morning on where Girl will land on the schedule.

    Veronica Mars is still clinging to life.

    Despite reports this morning that the show has been canceled, Rob Thomas just assured me via e-mail that there’s “nothing definitive.” That jives with what I told you in Ask Ausiello: It’s possible CW head Dawn Ostroff is delaying a final verdict on VM until after Thursday’s upfront.

    One encouraging sign: Sources say Rob has passed on CBS’ offer to come aboard its new musical mystery drama Viva Laughlin! as an executive producer. (Rob declined to comment on anything Viva-related.)

    Okay, so I’ll definately be tuning in to Gossip Girl if Kristen Bell is going to narrate it!! Seriously, I’ll take “Veronica” however I can get her…

    this is weird. is she really going to be in the gossip girl? who is she gonna play, blair? i can’t wait to see it, but i still don’t believe she’s gonna be in it. and i hate the fact that veronica is gonna be canceled:(
