I too saw the Alec B interview on THE VIEW, but Alec is under contract, and there is no way NBC is going to let him just leave 30 ROCK.. After-all, he's the reason (along with Tina Fey) that people tune into the show. Tina did say in an interview last week that he'll be back. I think having the summer to regroup will do him some good.
