I'm sure all the nuts helped but it's probably more to do with the Nielsen ratings report that came out last week that basically said people across the board stopped watching tv within 72 hours of tivo'ing it so the numbers got all wonky in April and May. Every show with a few exceptions lost viewers and it turns out now they didn't lose as many as they thought. Jericho slipped for sure but so did every other serial show and I think CBS knew they made a mistake and the nuts just help drive that point home.... I'm actually surprised they are only talking about an extended mini series... fingers crossed we at least get that :) Could be great news. But I'm afraid to get my hopes up too high, since Ausiello also said before that chances were "pretty good" that Veronica Mars would be renewed. Still, I can't help but be excited by the possibility.
