Demetrius is a ship in the Fleet and was first mentioned quite some time ago. Look it up at battlestarwiki.org. Let’s not jump to false conclusions. It’s not an Earth ship.

Aerelon was the “food basket” of the twelve colonies, the “farm planet”, and is the homeplanet of Gaius Baltar. Maybe the ship Demetrius is from Aerelon, too, according Demeter’s role in the Greek mythology.
