The TV Addict Goes on Hiatus

I think this goes without saying, but for one day only, this TV Addict will not be watching TV. If you’re wondering why, well I’m half way through HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS and loving every minute of it. Wishing everyone a magical weekend.

    I’ve finished….. I feel so empty

I just finished reading the book about an hour ago. Man, what a fantastic book. I loved it. I’m disappointed that this is the end, though. I can’t believe it. Never again will we get another Harry Potter book… :(

Without mentioning any spoilers (in case an unsuspecting POTTER addict visits the site) I wanted to ask you guys what you thought of the book? Did it meet your expectations, or were you left disappointed?

I was left pretty satisfied even though there’s most definitly a tinge of sadness knowing the series if over. Loved the start of the book and the end, feeling the middle dragged on just a bit.

Here’s my order of the books from favorite to least.

    6, 3, 4, 7, 1, 2, 5

I have to say that i was amazed and then just plain exhausted after i finished… i finished yesterday after about 8 hours of reading and all day to day i’ve just kinda been in a funk. But I loved the book, i’ll admit i had seen some spoilers online and have to say that so many of them were dead wrong, so I wonder if they were a plant. don’t know yet if it’s my favourite book. I need to re read it…
but i’ll say as of this minute in order from fav the least
    3 6 7 5 4 2 1

I finished late last night and absolutely loved it – I cried and laughed and also am sad that it’s all over but can’t wait to start re-reading it again.

Right now my order of favorite to least favorite (though I really loved the whole series):

    3, 7, 6, 5, 4, 1, 2

I listened to the book rather than read it, as I always do, because Jim Dale is a freakin’ genius. And I loved it. I agree it dragged a little in the middle, but then, time was dragging for the characters, so it fit. So many things made me so happy, that the things that didn’t were okay, and I adored the way it ended.
