Tony Bennett: An American Classic was a special that NBC ran on Thanksgiving weekend last year. It was basically Tony Bennett doing duets with contemporary artists, they’re all on his most recent CD. It was direct by Rob Marshall, the director of CHICAGO.

It was beautifully made, I watched it in HD the night before Thanksgiving and it was gorgeous.

is it just me or did it seem like “Emmy Lite” this year? All the hoopala and buzz seemed to be missing from this years show. It appared to just be random celebrites going through the motions giving Tony Bennett award after award.

When the hell is Tony Bennet:American Classic on anyways? Ive never even heard of it.

Seacrest wasnt awful, but an awards hosting gig is a comedian’s job.

30 Rock won!!!!!!!!!!! I was so effing excited last night. I didn’t think it had any chance. It seemed like Ugly Betty was a lock.

It almost makes up for every other category where my pick lost lol.

Jaime Pressly is really good. But I preferred Jenna Fischer and Vanessa Williams.
