The producers like the concept of the show, but are fearful Steve Carrell's successful movie career will make him want to leave. If they come up w/ a similar themed new show, and add a "name" to it, it will be a good replacement if the orignal show starts to fall apart. Just a thought. Now we'll be bombarded w/ spin offs. I don't think it's a good idea, but then again i was against Private Practice, which i still think isn't that good.
