First Look: THE RETURN OF JEZEBEL JAMES

THE RETURN OF JEZEBEL JAMES

We at theTVaddict.com are so excited for Amy Sherman-Palladino’s unique voice to return to television that we’re completely ignoring all the behind-the-scenes rumors (will Michael Ausiello ever learn?) and the fact that FOX already trimmed down the show’s episode order.

Feel the same way? Why not check out these new promotional photos from THE RETURN OF JEZEBEL JAMES.

I haven’t seen the pilot, but did see a two minute (or so) clip on the web somewhere.

    It was painful to watch.

  • paketep

The last photos are painful to watch. Someone should learn a bit more of Photoshop πŸ˜‰

  • John Β β€” I actually enjoyed the first episode.

Paketep β€” Agreed. It says a lot about FOX’s belief in the show when they do such a dreadful job of photoshopping the promo photos!

  • I’m a big fan of Parker Posey and will give anything she’s in a shot. Nobody can deliver lines like she does. I hope her brand of quirky catches on. The two sisters on the show aside, the cast really doesn’t impress me though.

  • Delia

I saw those (badly photoshopped) photos at jezebeljames.net a long time ago. I hope this show is better than the early reviews are saying. I REALLY want another good Sherman-Palladino production on the air!

  • Stephanie

Am I seeing things or is that Lorelai’s Max?

  • I’m hoping the pilot was reworked because what I saw this summer was dreadful.

  • mike

michael ausiello and all the folks over at tv guide know what theyre talking about and theyre much more credible than you, seeing as they are actually getting paid for doing their job. Ausiello wouldn’t say that if it wasnt true and from credible sources. so i wouldnt scold michael ausiello being as he is much more knowledgable in the world of tv than you. see: hes getting paid for it-for clarification

  • John

Why does someone being paid to talk or write about something make them more credible than someone doing it because they have an interest in it?

  • jake

john: they are more credible because theyve been acknowledged for their tv observations and websites and magazines and so on feel like they would be an addition to their team because they are spot on when it comes to their analysis and such. Most critics said journeyman was dreary and boring and would be taken off the air. it has been. most said cashmere mafia was boring and unlikable and would not do well. AMERICAN GLADIATORS beat it in the rating. AMERICAN GLADIATORS. if they jezebel james is so-so then it probably is. they are more credible because they do it for a living, and arent just any joe schmo.

p.s.- and i hope your not saying that the people that do get paid dont have interest in what theyre doing. because if so, they wouldnt be doing it.

  • Mike/John/Jake,

What a fascinating little debate this has turned into.

Firstly to Mike. I completely reject your assertion that you’re more credible because you get paid. Money has nothing to do with having an opinion.

Secondly Mike, My jab at Ausiello was all in good fun, and one you’d only ‘get’ if you were familiar with the recent behind-the-scenes drama on BROTHERS & SISTERS.

Finally to Jake: I happened to like JOURNEYMAN and dislike AMERICAN GLADIATORS. Again, you don’t need to write for a magazine or newspaper to have an opinion.

  • did they even pose together? lol obviously not. jeez. if they can’t get along for pics – wow. i will check it out though. love parker and lauren.

  • Matt P

TVaddict you cant tease us like that. what is the behind the scenes drama going over at Brother and Sisters?

  • Matt, Didn’t mean to tease. Just assumed it was common knowledge. Clearly I spent too much time online.
