I thought that it was a very good show…… i am prolly going to watch the rest of the season. It is a great show. i really like it. I think it lived up to the huge hype.

I missed B&S because I didn’t realize it was on. All I saw was the eps of Extreme Home Makeover so I thought there was nothing new. I feel so dumb.

SCC has much potential. Since the story and it’s future is already known, it’s not going to have that wow factor. It can however, explore the psyhe of the characters and their intense situation. Depths that the movies could not or just did not explore.

As the title suggest, the show will be hinged on the Sarah Connor character, but not her toughness, but rather her inner struggle of protecting and trianning a future savior, raising a son as normal as possible and trying to stop all of this from happening to begin with.

With that said Lena Headey is cast correctly. She can convey that inner strength and yet vulnerability. There were some really good scenes that showed this. Let the action, stunts and effects handle the outter strength.

John ‘s normal life desire shouldn’t be so surfaced. and I think they need to put a gun in his hand, this life is all he’s basically known, we need to see that.

As for Summer, who else could pull off sweetness, sexiness and kick ass.

To Todd W in NC Linda Hamilton was 27, 28 but not Sarah Connor who was 19 or so. The show did however show her being 5’4″ on the FBI computer screen and 5’5″ on the terminator’s screen- good eye though, unlike most u pay attention.

I loved the Sarah Connor Chronicles. The only thing that is a little weird is the whole idea of them rewriting the timeline, because in T3 there was no mention of another time when Terminators came back other than T1 and T2…
So really, this show is dismissing T3.
I do like that cast. I was a bit weary of Sarah at first, but then I started seeing her doing those “Get Down!” lines etc…and just totally reminded me of the old Sarah. What i do like about this shows, is that when 4 and 5 movies come out…I will be more open to a new cast and not be expecting Eddie Furlong, Linda Hamilton or Arnie. Hamilton was and always will be the best…she was amazing in the first 2…I like how we’re seeing continuity in characters like Dyson’s family…etc..

For me, Whedon alumni generate a temporary built in loyalty regardless of quality. Having said that, they will need to firm up the characters. I personally couldn’t care less if John dies, savior or no.

I was looking forward to Sarah Connor Chronicles for some time since I’m a fan of the first two movies (not so much the third). Sadly, the show could not maintain my short attention span. I agree with others that Sarah Connor seemed like a miscast.

I think they did a great job on the pilot. They focused heavy on the action to hook people in and I hope they keep the action up, but I would also have liked a tiny bit more on this “engineer” bit, but I imagine that’s why they did that.

I think they did the right thing doing a 2 night premiere like this letting people get 2 hours of the show right up front to get them hooked on it. It’s worked for other shows and I hope it works for this one.

And Summer seems to be the go to gal for super bad assery but innocent looking girl. The only thing that could have made this better is if this was on Showtime or HBO and the scene where they went to 2007 was full frontal. But hey, that’s just nit picking I liked the show so far.
