I'm one of them. I still watch the 2 episodes of Angel every morning between 6 and 8. Over and over and over-they loop all 5 years on tnt and I'll continue to watch cuz it never gets old. The show ended so abruptly, without warning when it looked like the best season ever. A lot of us figured they'd be around at least another year or 2. And as far as what I can make out from what's been made public, it wasn't about their ratings it was studio politics or some crap. The actors were as shocked as the viewers and maybe that's part of the bitterness as well. They weren't expecting the treatment they got. Whatever, doesn't matter, all that's left is reruns, comic books, conventions. Bones is a good show, getting a little gory for my taste as of the death of the woman serial killer but still good show, great interaction between characters. David Boreanaz does a great job. I know this is true because when I'm watching Booth, I don't see anything of Angel at all, don't even think about Angel. He has to be good to make me completely disassociate one character from the other. Angel, RIP. Bones, best of luck for many more seasons. I think squee is right about the over zealous fans. At the and of each season you could see that all the actors were extremely tired, even young guy like Vincent looked drained. Hard show to make. Most beautiful too. Still, five years of hard work that left David looking aged and in a bad health. Must be hard on his mother to see him like that. I don't think that he ever complained. Why does he have to go to reunions, make bad TV movies on the back of the great show, wear long leather coats, talk about glory days and all that pathetic stuff. It just cheapens everything. He might be bitter, or bored, or wants to play with another toy, or puzzled why you still want to talk about Angel, or forgotten the show, or he is just stubborn. Maybe he hates character, or writers, or fandom, so maybe is better that he doesn't talk. Or he is trying to escape being typecast. Maybe he didn't understand the show and is afraid to look stupid. I don't know his reasons, so I cannot be angry for him forgetting me, his Angel Fan. I do know that he is not fake, and riding an old fandom to try to put his new projects out.
