Jenny’s TV Guide: Monday June 2

Monday marks the series premiere of Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods on MTV at 10/9c. Hosted by Haylie Duff, who starred in the Broadway musical, Hairspray, Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods shows you all the hard work, dedication and determination that’s needed to become a leading lady in a mega-musical. After a nationwide casting call, thousands of girls auditioned for the chance to become Elle Woods. Now that the intensive search is over, 10 girls with larger-than-life dreams are going to be given the opportunity of a lifetime — a shot at the starring role in the Broadway musical Legally Blonde. But only one of them will take center stage when the lights go up. Filmed in New York City, the search will pull back the curtain on the audition process and show you exactly what it takes to become a Broadway star. The 10 lucky finalists will live together in a NYC loft while working their butts off with some of Broadway’s biggest names.

It’s also the season premiere of The Mole on ABC at 10/9c. I have never seen this show, so if you’re a fan, let me know if it’s worth watching.

Just a reminder, season 2 of The Bachelor on VH1 airs from 1/12c through 7/6c tonight!

I was a huge fan of the Mole when it first aired back in 2000/2001. I never watched the celebrity version, but the original one or two seasons, I loved. Its where I discovered Anderson Cooper. *sigh* I am really excited for the new version. The show was really interesting, very thought-provoking, and always showed great parts of the world. And just the right amount of unneccessary drama. ; ) I am definitely going to give it a try tonight… and then we’ll see how it goes.
