The TV Addict Gets Voted “Nice Boy of the Week”
Question: What do Zachary Levi, Simon Baker and the TV Addict have in common? I mean aside from our obvious charm, acting chops and good looks? We’ve all been voted nicegirlstv.com’s “Nice Boy of the Week.” No really!
After shamelessly posting last week’s FRINGE premiere party photos on theTVaddict.com, it turns out that someone, outside of my immediately family that is, took notice. Announced Nicegirlstv.com on their web site:
“Our new Nice Boy is – drum roll, please – that curly-headed boy, that lovable Canadian, the TV Addict himself, Daniel. We couldn’t resist.”
I mean, talk about surprising. Who knew that snagging photos with virtually any celebrity within stalking distance would reap such rewards. Next up, PEOPLE’s 50 Most Beautiful Issue. So Clooney, Pitt and Damon, watch out!

This Week on the Addict Network™
On the TV Addict:
We gave fans a ‘killer’ first look at DEXTER’s new advertising campaign, interviewed TERMINATOR’s Garret Dillahunt and PRISON BREAK’s Robert Knepper and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, and chronicled the night of our life at FOX’s fantastic FRINGE series premiere party in New York City.
On the REEL Addict:
We watched and reviewed Disney’s CAMP ROCK and HANNAH MONTANA on DVD, unveiled some really pretty posters for Baz Luhrmann’s AUSTRALIA and wondered if INGLORIOUS BASTARDS is offensive to Germans.
A Conversation with PRISON BREAK Stars Robert Knepper and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe
Since not knowing what is going to happen next is half the fun of PRISON BREAK, this TV Addict thought he’d take a different approach when given the unique opportunity to sit down with actors Robert Knepper and Jodi Lynn O’Keefe at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel. I hope you like it.
Should I read anything into the fact that the two of your are doing interviews together today, or is it purely coincidence?
Jodi Lyn O’Keefe: No we’re absolutely alluding to what’s going to happen this season. We’re teaming up, two bad guys taking over the show.
I had the chance to catch the first episode and it was a lot of fun, like every season premiere of PRISON BREAK, the show yet again reinvents itself.
Robert Knepper: A lot of stuff happens in that first episode.
Are you excited to be working together?
JL: I really am. I’ve been really looking forwarrd to wrokign with Robert. He’s been my favorite character since the beginning.
RK: Here’s a twenty [Robert passes twenty dollars to Jody!]
JL: He’s creepy and scarry and I’m really excited about our characters working together. We’ve already done one episode and I couldn’t have been happier.
RK: For the record, she kept the twenty and tucked it right into her brasier.
Jenny’s TV Guide: Friday August 29
Friday marks the series premiere of Grizzly Man Diaries on Animal Planet at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 9:30/8:30c. This eight-part series documents the life of Timothy Treadwell in the decade before his death. It will draw upon the hundreds of hours of archived footage, private pages from his diaries and more than 10,000 still photographs, ultimately telling the story he truly wanted to before his untimely death from the very creatures he loved so deeply.
First Look: The Justice League Returns to SMALLVILLE
One thing is clear, new SMALLVILLE showrunners Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer are not wasting any time establishing a new tone to what is quite possibly SMALLVILLE’s swan song season.
In the season’s second episode titled “Odyssey”, The Justice League, led by the Green Arrow hit the Arctic in search of Clark who disappeared after his home-away-from-home, the Fortress of Solitude collapsed in May’s season finale.

Exclusive First Look: DEXTER Turns Cover Boy
With the third season premiere of DEXTER now exactly one month away, theTVaddict.com is thrilled to be able to finally unveil all four DEXTER parody covers that Showtime is rolling out in order to promote the return of America’s favorite serial killer this fall.
For more Dexter Morgan on the cover of ‘The New Yorker,’ ‘Wired,’ and ‘Rolling Stone’ simply click the link below and enjoy.
More importantly, don’t you dare risk the wrath of Dexter, not to mention an angry TV Addict by missing the season premiere on September 28 at 9PM on Showtime [TMN in Canada]. Because in case you haven’t heard, something so big, so intense and so secretive occurs within the season opener’s final few minutes that it will change Dexter’s life forever. Or as Michael C. Hall put it during the recent panel at Comic Con, “Dexter alongside Jimmy Smits’ new District Attorney will set into motion a plan that they won’t ever be able to come back from.”
