    God luv you guys! I’ve been drinkin’ all day and I have a cold and as my hangover approaches, I can’t think of anything I’d love more than images of Dean in sansabelt gym shorts. HOT. And Barry Bostwick is in an epi about magicians? Cool! Who says they had budget cuts. The special acting talent on this show rocks! Now, I have to go to bed and sleep off this silly cold and the champagne I had tonight. God bless the editing team. You guys are the GREATEST!

    Ok, am I actually the ONLY one who HATED Dean hitting the boy so HARD??? Did you really find THAT funny??? Because *I* didn’t. I am a great fan of SN but I also hate when the writers write a scene like that, out of character IMO. Dean might be a tough guy, a bit of a bad guy (we sure like that) but we all know he has a heart of gold and he’s a big softie inside in fact. Why would he hit a BOY that hard? When we all know how strong he is? Just to have one “funny” scene? I am looking forward to new SN, I swear I am but if Dean doesn’t have a very good reason for doing THAT, I think it’ll be the first time I’d feel a little ashamed for him. :(

    If he does have a good reason, MY MOST SINCERE APOLOGIES for my beloved Dean, Jensen and the writers too. >> I hope I’m wrong, Dean, I do. <<

    Maybe I’m sadistic or something, but I thought it was hilarious. From watching the clip, II thought that Dean was genuinely surprised that the kid didn’t DODGE his throw, after he went through that whole speech about “The only rule is to DODGE.” You can tell he felt bad, but couldn’t break from his character, so he just kept going.

    It might also be that Dean doesn’t know his own strength. Or it was just random comedic relief and we’re not supposed to over-analyze it to death.

    Oh well, still excited clip or no clip. :) Supernatural rocks…and the crew rocks for thinking of the fans like they do. They never forget us, and are very in tune with what works for us…like giving us this. :) (even tho I can’t watch it)…

    To J: I don’t usually over-analyze but it felt so totally out of character for me. No matter how tough Dean looks, he doesn’t hurt people for no reason, that’s all, and it felt worse b/c he hit a KID. And yes, I hate over-analyzing too. It just ruined the scene for me.

    To Ana Maria: We sure hope the kid had a padding when he and Jensen did this scene b/c Jensen sure hit hard. *smiles a little* Maybe the boy will be the first person who didn’t enjoy meeting Jensen. ;)

    Obviously Dean thinks they’re teenage boys. They should know what dodgeball is. He can’t possibly know that their teacher thinks that dodgeball is a dangerous sport, therefor the boy wouldn’t know that he was supposed to dodge a ball that is being shot at him by a grown man in a gym teachers uniform. So really Dean is not at all in the wrong to throw the ball that hard seeing as he expecting it to hit a wall.
