Re: The Clone Wars and your comment "too bad the animation looks like a cheaply-made video game."

What the ... ? Are you on crack? Do you know or appreciate anything about animation? Find me one animated TV series that has ever aimed for and achieved this level and caliber of animation on a weekly basis. I think what you might be saying is you don't like the character design, which is a fair comment. But, holy crap ... do you have ANY idea what an impressive animated achievement this is? I've been closely associated with the animation industry for more than 15 years (I'm not an animator, though), and can tell you that the commitment, effort and time that go into an episode of this series must be jaw-dropping.

It is one thing to say you don't like the LOOK. That is an absolutely fair, justifiable comment. To say it looks like a cheaply made videogame shows a staggering ignorance of animation and lack of appreciation of the money and talent that George Lucas is so clearly devoting to this series. My God, I could go on and on ... and I don't even like "Star Wars" all that much ... because this series truly looks amazing.
