Since this TV Addict was otherwise occupied yesterday visiting the set of NBC’s exciting new series KINGS. Where, by the way, I can assure you, star Ian McShane did not pull a “Christian Bale” and in fact could not have been nicer! I thought I’d leave up to you — my far smarter and better looking readers — to post away with your thoughts on last night’s installments of UGLY BETTY, THE OFFICE, 30 ROCK, SMALLVILLE, SUPERNATURAL, GREY’S ANATOMY and PRIVATE PRACTICE. What should I watch first?

All I know is, Kristin Kreuk and Tom Welling deserve an Emmy for their tragic farewell scene on Smallville. That’s the most real emotion I can recall seeing on a TV show. It was heart-wrenching.

I think, as well as a few others I have spoken with. That this weeks “The Office” was the single funniest in the series thus far. I don’t think I stopped laughing the whole show!

  • Josh Emerson

30 Rock: Hilarious, but did you really expect otherwise? The whole Telemundo plot was so awesome as was Jon Hamm as Lemon’s new neighbor. Considering this is the best show on TV, watch this first!

The Office: Pretty good. Nothing overly great.

Ugly Betty: It’s weird. I still find this show entertaining and funny, yet I always get so annoyed by many of the characters. I absolutely cannot stand this guy Connor. What a hypocritical asshole.

Grey’s: Awesome. I was enjoying everything about the show except Denny, so now that he’s gone, it’s really good!

Grey’s was really great last night. Loved every minute of Owen/Christina.

As for the whole GA/PP crossover – Uh, it’s next week ABC. What a bait and swich promo campaign. Less than 1 minute of Addison on GA or Addison mentioning Derek on PP does not a crossover make!

the was good on Smallville. it was the storyline i couldn’t stand. and Betty kinda left me feeling blah..

The fight scene between Sam & Dean made the episode worth watching, though I am a devoted fan I was mostly disappointed with the rest of the episode. It was definately a filler.

As for Smallville, I am sooo oglad that they have finally closed the door on Lana & Clark! Kristen Kreuk has been off the show for like 2 or 3 seasons & yet despite her claims of being donw with the series she keeps poping up to mess thigns up. I’m glad she’s gone.

What was up with the weird music thingy in the Owen/Cristina scenes? Then again they did/do have ghost Denny sex, so maybe not.

I love Addison so I hate that they are seemingly making the Meredith and Derek shippers hate her more for stopping the proposal.

I stuck around Grey’s for Callie/Mark, but it seems their bent on making Mark/Lexi and LesbianCallie work, so I think I’ll be done after Addison goes back to LA.

Ugly Betty was missing something this week–I can’t put my finger on exactly what–but I’m a little more optimistic about the future considering the new living arrangements.

I for one was really disappointed in Supernatural and I am one of those diehard fans of that show. :) The fight scene between them was okay, but I just don’t want to see them do the Sam v. Dean would be too annoying to me. I like their bond as brothers, and I like to think that nothing can break that, but last night they tried to make it seem like it could be broken. I always hate it when shows do that, what is wrong with how it was, I think they are both equally good, superfreaky powers or not, they both are excellent hunters. But I am loyal and will wait for what Kripke has in store, but he better not mess with my brothers! lol

Right before the first Owen/Christina scene, Christina was talking to Meredith about her mom’s journal saying it was all romantic and victorian era type stuff w/ stolen moments and glances. They played off that for the Owen/Christina scenes. I thought it was sweet.

Grey’s was awesome. I can’t wait to take a weekly trip to Cali-zona!!!

I just watched PP and Addison’s brother Archer said he was in Zihuatanejo. I wonder if he ran into Andy Dufresne!

I liked GG and PP though I always have some quibbles. First off, Arizona is just a younger, blonder Hahn so no go ABC, you cannot pull the bait and switch with me. And the false advertising of the crossover was wrong. Once again, I blame the network.

I liked Supernatural. @babygirrr: I actually enjoy when they test the brothers bond. It’s always been tenuous but you know they’ll be there for each other but they are far from your typical, I’ll stand by you no matter what brothers and I like that.

Ugly Betty was good but that’s mostly due to Mark and Amanda. I hate the constant, Betty chooses between her family or work dynamic. I do like the Betty/Daniel relationship though. When they interact it’s great. I’ll watch 30 Rock this weekend.

The Office was fantastic, as was Hamm in 30 Rock. Grey’s was good too. What surprised me the most was how good Ugly Bety was. I’ve been loving the season so far, and thought Betty’s romantic view of the city coming to an end was really bitter sweet. Watching here leave as Mark and Amanda had their fun was really heartbreaking, and I still think America is perfect in the role. I hope the season eventually ends with Betty returning to the city and starting to have the life she really wants.

    Grey’s Anatomy!

I’m late to this party — you’ve probably seen them all already! Smallville was good — especially if Lana is now really, truly, finally GONE. (Yaaaay!)
Supernatural was really good — the fight between Sam and Dean was worth the price of several admissions. I love the tension that keeps building — and I have an idea this was just a little precurser . . . .
