Obama is required by the U.S. Constitution to interrupt tv schedules for the State of the Union.

Of course the Constitution was written before [insert name of show you were dying to see tonight at its regularly scheduled time], but what are you going to do? Amend the constitution to only schedule it during non-Must See TV hours?

I love Privileged, but fear it will go the way of other top-flight series, such as Veronica, Arrested, Jack & Bobby, Related, etc….intelligent shows that the ever-idiotic population just won’t watch. Seriously, unless there’s a bad karaoke singer with four dim-wit judges seated at a table, our nation just can’t be distracted. And people wonder why networks have tried things such as Farmer Wants a Wife? It’s what the dumbed-down public craves.

I love this show and all of its Joanna Garcia glory, but WHY is Kathy Griffin guest staring??? I cannot be the only one who finds her insanely annoying. Of course I’ll still watch, but I’ll be resenting the bad guest star casting. I really hope this show gets picked up for next year. I feel like it is just finding its footing and to pull it now would be mean.

I’ll also note after your Obama rant that his 1/2 hour political ad that was run on every station except ABC did NOT help Pushing Daisies . And I get wanting to keep the country informed during these frankly frightening economic times, but taking away our evening enjoyment is not really the way to go about it.
