'Bad News: For some of our TV Addict favorites, with no mention being made of the new Jason Dohring/ Minka Kelly/ Brian Austin Green vehicle THE BODY POLITIC and the Brittany Snow/ Krysten Ritter/ Ryan Hansen GOSSIP GIRL spin-off.'

That's a shame because these two shows interested me the most :(.

Will watch a Beautiful Life to see what it is like...but with GG's being not so good this year and 90210 (for the most part) disappointing. I'm not expecting much.

Young people wouldn't watch the political show, unfortunately. It's been tried with The WB's "D.C.", for instance, and THAT was even produced by Dick Wolf and had young good-looking stars. Teens aren't THAT into Oblah-blah-ma that they're suddenly ready for some brain-stimulating politics in prime time.

I think folks would sooner watch Wipeout!, with fat people flopping off big rubber balls, than they'd watch Tim Matheson & Co.

After reading the pilots for The Vampire Diaries, A Beautiful Life, The Light Years and Body Politic, I definitely agree that Body Politic is the best pilot from the bunch. I understand the CW would want to cash in on the 'vampire craze' after Twilight, but if you look at where we're going now with more young people showing interest in politics, its the perfect time for Body Politic. There's a reason ABC, NBC and FOX all have new political pilots and DC-based shows on their pilot slate this year! Jason Dohring, Minka Kelly and Brian Austin Green also have that obsessive fan base that buys DVDs and shows on iTunes to play on their iPods or iPhones and is really how CBS and theWB are making money from the CW.

Given that it's a show about young DC-up and comers, it also pairs well with OTH and Melrose Place as those shows also feature 20-somethings that are just really starting in the 'real' world and trying to establish their lives and careers as adults.

I thought the Body Politic show sounded like one of the best of the pilots at the CW. It's too bad it probably won't make it. I also may have checked out the Gossip Girl spin-off. Not a big fan of the actual GG, but this one sounded cool, being set in the 80s and co-starring Kristen Ritter and Ryan Hansen.

Mmmm, Melrose Place reboot? Not so much, I'll give VD a chance cause I loved the books as a child. Mischa "Is she even relevant anymore?" Barton ... not too sure about her either. I'd watch the GG-spinoff (but i'd much rather have flashbacks) and I love BAG on T:SCC so I want him available for next season.

I can't argue with those 3 CW "locks"...all sound fantastic. Unfortunately, the network had too many quality pilots and not enough holes for everything. Still hoping Privileged eeks onto the sked. Shocked that the Gossip Girl spinoff may not happen; the '80s thing really looked fun.

Someone please tell me why I'm not seeing Rachel Dratch every week on TV? One of the funniest ladies EVER....think maybe she could boost a comedy series, oh, just a "hair?"
