I’ll defin. watch Deep End and probably Flash Forward.
I’ll give Cougar Town a chance cuz i love anyone from Friends lol. The rest I don’t care about.

V was the show I obsessed about before I knew I was a sci-fi geek. It was was my very first sci-fi love. I give it a 17 on a scale of 1-10 in terms of how excited I am to see it. The cast is a dream cast chock full of favorites from so many other series I adore. And I am still 100% spoiler free! Fall 2009 cannot come fast enough for me.

The one sadness in all that goodness is that Juliet looks like she won’t survive Jughead. Juliet has been the best female character on that island.

The Deep End: boring
Cougar Town: surprisingly funny & intriguing
Flash Forward: vague but sufficiently intriguing
Hank: kind of cute but not good enough
Happy Town: unsure; looks too weird to gain wide audience
The Middle: dreadful
Eastwick: even more dreadful
V: will certainly give it a shot
The Forgotten: boring
Modern Family: boring

I’m shocked that I’m looking forward to Cougar Town the most, especially if it’s a half-hour sitcom (is it?). But, there again, it’s created by Bill Lawrence whose sense of humor I really enjoy on Scrubs. I typically don’t watch sitcoms, but I made an exception for Scrubs. Bill Lawrence doesn’t mind mixing zany humor with heartfelt drama, nor does he mind casting hot (uhm, and smart) women and writing scripts in which they appear in their underwear. I’m onboard.

ABC has some promising shows. I liked V (in its first version) and have hope w/ this one. Cougar Town looks good. Witches preview didn’t look good – though I will give the show a chance. I have no interest in Kelsey and Patricia doing the same ole stuff. Boring!

During Up Fronts ABC showed the entire pilot of Modern Family, the first act of Flash Forward, and extended previews of the other series. I was actually lucky enough to see the Up Front presentation and I have to say that ABC has some promising new series.

If the pilot of Modern Family is any indication, Modern Family is a must watch comedy. I had next to no expectations for the series and I have to say that I was blown away by it. If Modern Family is consistently as funny as the pilot, it is already one of the best comedies on television. I never expected to laugh nearly as much as I did. The audience at the presentation also appeared to laugh quite a bit as well.

The first act (first 5-10 minutes) of Flash Forward wasn’t fantastic but I definitely see the potential for a great show. I also really like V.

Hank, The Middle, Happy Town, and Eastwick show promise but appear to need a little work. The Deep End, The Cougar and The Forgotten don’t look that good in my opinion.

Since V is a spring show, that could make for a pretty nice Wednesday night. ABC could do Scrubs, Better Off Ted, LOST, and then V to cap it off. At least that’s what I’m predicting.
