I don’t think that’s entirely true Nick. He’s not exactly out of a job right now, he’s got that show on TNT. Which is what he was there to promote in the first place. You could probably make that argument about Elizabeth Berkley though. I was surprised they said she signed on.

Mark-Paul isn’t old and fat and out of a job. I think we can rule out any David Cassidy comparisons. He’s just grown up and gotten a better perspective on things. And it didn’t take him until he is 50 to figure it out.

I’m always amused at how stars want NOTHING to do with the role/characters who made them famous….until their career starts to slide.

Mark-Paul is one of the biggest offenders. He didn’t even want Saved by the Bell mentioned in interviews. He’d get angry. And now….?

David Cassidy used to shun Partridge Family mentions like the plague. Then he got old, kind of ugly, kind of broke and kind of needy for the old PF clan.

Why can’t actors just embrace the characters and shows that fans come to love? They owe their careers to these shows, first of all, and why diss all the fans who’ve helped you make millions by ruining the illusion?
