It reminded me a lot of 2001 Space Oddisy with Hal, the onboard computer malfunctioning. Even the premise of what happened to the Captain reminded me of what happened on 2001 Space Oddisy. You know the mind trips, what life is all about, etc. I guess all space movies mess with your mind and onboard computers. Unfortunately, I see why is was not picked up for a series. I'm not crazy yet about the reality show aspect. But, I like the ship, most of the premise, at least some of the characters, the character relationships, and the mystery that is set up at the end. I think it has potential to be really good. But, being burned off on Friday night in the middle of summer -- on Fox -- does not bode well. I liked it. I’m not crazy yet about the reality show aspect. Maybe. They got an order in for shorter miniskirts in the very least. I guess Fox isn't using any normal rules in how it selects its shows. This on the other hand had some great acting and ideas behind it. I was expecting a bust considering how long it took for them to play it, but I loved what I saw. Oh well. Maybe someone else will pick it up? Probably not. Shame though. It had a lot more going for it than a lot of pilots I've watched. Why do people pitch their shows to FOX? It is getting comical now. Do us a favor FOX and don't pick up the rights to good scripts that come through. Let another network have them. What the hell is Moore been smokin'? That was the most boring movie/pilot i have ever seen. Thats why Fox didnt order the full series, cause it sucked. I find it hard to believe that they could make an entire series of people sitting in a space ship, playing vr games. Sure first few episodes would be watchable but sooner or later it would get stale.
