You’re not the only one. In fact, a testament to just how cool Joss Whedon is can be found in his response to a question I asked him with regards to the similar post-apocalyptic future that both TERMINATOR: TSCC and DOLLHOUSE’s “Epitaph One” painted. His response was:

“I am an apocolyptic future nut! I love that stuff and can never get enough of it and if they put a gun to me and told me to choose I would have said, ‘Renew SARAH CONNOR because I love that show and was really bummed that it went off the air.”

to Blueberry: Nah. Watching Epitaph 1 doesn’t spoil anything. Just because its set so far in the future & was very cleverly done (to be expected from Joss) that it leaves enough gaps and unanswered questions that your left with this great need to know what happened. How did they get to that place. It’s a great opportunity to fill in the blanks. and even after the end of the episode there could be more… So no I don’t think it’ll ruin it for you.

I just finished the season, but do I have to watch epitaph one to appreciate the second season? I feel like if I do watch the un-aired episode, it might just spoil the new season.
