wow allison and joan youre terrible. she was funny on SYTYCD and while the show does suck ellen is wonderful person who will bring lots of fun to the show. so reserve judgement please

The announcement of Ellen as a “Judge” (hahahaha) on American Idol didn’t take me by surprise. Nothing this JOKE of a show does surprises me any longer. I stopped watching their manipulation of the winners and first place runner ups, a while back. I refuse to support hypocrates like the American Idol suck buddies.. Sick bunch of users. Firing or bumping Paula was STUPID and while AI’s ratings have NOT been good, they will be worse and worse. Horrible decision making, THAT doesn’t surprise me either. Geeze.

I’ve been watching American Idol fairly religiously since the first season, and I’ve seen some unbelievable things happen on the show. Think Taylor Hicks, Kris Allen beating Adam Lambert, the unfortunate influence of votefortheworst.com, Sanjaya, even Kara DioGuardi’s finale song last season. But even considering all that, this is undoubtedly the most ridiculous decision AI has made.

Every So You Think You Can Dance fan is cringing as they read this news, because Ellen was absolutely terrible when she guest judged with Nigel and the gang this season. She said absolutely nothing of substance, and made jokes that seemed inappropriate for the situation. She lacks legitimacy, and that makes viewers tune out.

I miss Paula already…I think this may be the end of my AI obsession.
