I’m giving this one to Baldwin. I’m no fan of TBBT and I think I’m supposed to be since I’m a nerd and I get all their science’y jokes.

Josh Emerson,

While I’ll agree that Alec Baldwin is brilliant, one of the things that helps him be so is an unbelievably talented writing staff led by Tina Fey.

Where Jim Parsons gets serious bonus points is for elevating what in the wrong hands could be some very cheesy jokes and one-liners.

Jim Parsons is great, but there’s no way he should win over Alec Baldwin. And considering TBBT didn’t get nominated for overall Best Comedy, I don’t think he will.

Question to voters: Shouldn’t the Emmy in this category go to the actor who consistently makes you LAUGH…and I mean, laugh HARD?

Question #2: Then WHY is Charlie Sheen a nominee? Seriously.

Question #3: Tony Shaloub has been nominated for this SEVEN straight years and won three Emmys. Really? You’re telling me that Tony Shaloub is the funniest actor in primetime? Seriously?

Bottom Line: Only Parsons, Carell and Baldwin are worthy of this honor. They should split it. But since they won’t, Parsons has been amazing this year. Each week he seems funnier than the last.
