While the results found that that 42% of viewers favored Fox’s ‘House’ for the best drama and 24% favored ABC’s ‘Lost’, the Emmy Award went to AMC’s Mad Men, which was the viewer’s third pick with 13% of the votes. The first year was a really great start for show that different. Seasons 2 & 3 were kind of a mixed bag, so it's a shame that Mad Men is *allegedly* so good these past two years because Lost has been at its best in its 4th & 5th seasons. Thirtysomething... same thing. :) Yep, you're right. My bad. I don't know any history beyond that but the one thing this shows is that Emmy loves freshman shows. I never watched Picket Fences but it sounded delightfully weird. And seeing as it took place in Wisconsin, where I'm from - actually about 25 miles away if they were accurate, I should jump on that. And, L.A. Law I'd count as an honorable mention. Are you sure it was Moonlighting? According to Wikipedia, it was Thirtysomething that landed in the middle of the L.A. Law streak.
