Soap Star Is New FRINGE Bad Guy!

You win some, you lose some. Sebastian Roche — best known for his role as GENERAL HOSPITAL’s psychotic Jerry Jax — used his twitter account to share the news that THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE had been canceled. And while the talented actor had booked a recurring role on the God-awful series as the father of Sara Paxton’s Raina, he still had reason to smile. Seems he’s also been booked what he referred to as “a big recurring baddie part” on FOX’s sophomore series FRINGE. Bad comes naturally to Roche, who — when now torturing the folks on HOSPITAL — was also been seen making life hellish for good guy Jack Bauer last season on 24.

    First GH, the only soap I still check in on occasionally, then 24 and now Fringe. I wish Roche would stop turning up on the shows I watch. Anyone who was watching GH when the first Jerry Jax was in residence would know how ridiculous it was to try to convince us that he now looked like Roche, was a diabolical bad guy and spoke French with an accent. I find his characters not so much disturbing and scary, but annoying. Isn’t there someone else out there that can play the bad guy and give this guy a rest?
