In celebration of today’s release of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: THE PLAN on DVD (also known as your final BSG adventure until our effort to irresponsibly spread rumours with regards to the inevitable big screen adventure catches on), is thrilled to be giving away one copy of THE PLAN to one lucky reader.

To enter to win THE PLAN, which tells the uncut and uncensored (FYI: They’re really not joking about uncensored, but more on that later) story of humanity’s futuristic fight for survival through the eyes of their deadly adversaries, the Cylons. Simply let us know in the comments below your best guess for what exactly ‘The Plan’ is. (Outside of NBC/Universal’s obvious one that involves milking this franchise for every dollar it can!)

One lucky entrant will be chosen at random and notified via email on November 3, 2009, so please be sure to enter with a valid email address. Not a winner? BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: THE PLAN is now available on Amazon for only $16.99.

I don’t have the patience to wait that long.

  • Allison

I think the plan is for the cylons to defeat the humans and find earth themselves.

  • Sara

My best guess right now is that “The Plan” was to eliminate the humans and build a Cylon empire out of the rubble of the 12 Colonies. Perhaps keeping a few humans around for pets, slaves or to study.

  • Ron McCune

I believe “The Plan” is that since neither the Cylons nor the Humans could carry on their respective races on their own, the 2 will merge as one race genetically produced from the offspring of both to possibly make a new sociaty than either race could alone. This way they can use the best traits of both to fix the problems that both had. I think this is what they were already attempting to do with their experiments.

  • Nee

The plan is to become more human-like/better humans and be rewarded with Earth as their home.

  • Dan

Psychological warfare! Six frakking with Baltar’s mind; Leoben frakking with Kara’s, Boomer frakking with Galen’s, etc. etc. The list goes on…

  • Aeryn

The plan is to destroy humanity, but the plan itself probably enhanced it. the Plan is also for Six and Anders to be hotter every day, if you ask me!

  • Anne

The plan has to be about procreation for the Cylon race.

  • Um, I’m confused about the question. The Plan is to take all the B-roll footage they had from the BSG finale and edit it together to make twice as much money on the episode. 🙂
As far as the meaning of “The Plan” in the movie–I guess it would be either the plan by the cylons to steal the baby or maybe since it got all religious it is referring to “God’s Plan”.

  • Kyle,

If the DVD was awarded based solely on the hilarity (or is it accuracy?) of the answer, you’d be the winner! Unfortunately, since life isn’t fair, you’ll have to check your email in a weeks time just like everybody else.

  • Bob

The Plan changed depending on the whims of the writers

  • amy

The Plan: Evolution. The plan is for all races to continue to evolve, by whatever means, including taking out other races, or having their race being threatened. Constantly changing the dynamic of the universe.

  • Brian

The Plan was to make thousands of clones of Starbuck. Serioulsy, you don’t have to be human to want one for yourself.

  • Robert Jonsson

Cylons is as with the humans: to survive, no matter what the cost is.

  • I think the original plan was to be able to procreate w/ the humans they were able to enslave/harvest. Unfortunately for the other Cylons,Cavil had other plans because I don’t think he was ever interested in being more human. He seemed to fully embrace his machine. I don’t think any of them foresaw the Cylon civil war or the awakening of the final five.

God, I can’t wait to see this!

  • Denym Pedersen

The plan was to wipe out 20 billion people,

then celebrate with cake and spread the rest of eternity figuring out just how to bake the perfect cake in time for the second cycle 😛

  • Ken

The plan is to wipe out humans, of course!

  • Andrew

The plan was definitely procreation – likely through a fully subjugated human race. They didn’t seem to want to fully eradicate human life – after all, they actively harvested capable women for pregnancy farms and attracted human suitors to experiment with reproduction. The plan only failed in so far as the surviving humans did not accept cylon dominance and repeatedly rebelled (Anders on Caprica, Tigh, etc., on New Caprica)

  • Debsa

The cylons plan to impregnate all human females, reproduce and kill all males…. Just a wild guess…
