Happy Holidays From theTVaddict.com

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, not even a… Because that’s what happens when an evening spent in Las Vegas courtesy of Bradley Cooper’s Hangover inspires us to go on a TV on DVD bender that involves ALIAS’ first two seasons.

But in all seriousness folks, this TV Addict wanted to press [the] pause [button] for a moment so that we may wish each and every one of you a safe, healthy and happy holiday season. May all of your [insert your holiday here] wishes come true. Particularly if they happen to coincide with a few of ours (Which you can see after the jump).

The cancelation of THE JAY LENO SHOW and the return of NBC’s dignity.
An ending to LOST that defies expectations.
For Lauren Graham’s PARENTHOOD to be a smash from the get-go.
A big screen adventure for VERONICA MARS (Yup, still holding out for that one from last year’s wish list!)
Even more twitter followers.
The release of the much rumored Apple Tablet, complete with a digital version of our bible: Entertainment Weekly.
A cameo on Michael Urie and Becki Newton’s UGLY BETTY podcast.
A new TV series from Aaron Sorkin.
An Emmy win for THE BIG BANG THEORY’s Jim Parsons.
For people outside of the cast and crew’s immediate family to jump on the CW’s Tuesday night bandwagon. Seriously people, 90210 and MELROSE PLACE are quickly becoming honest-to-goodness guilty pleasures.
For JACK & BOBBY and PARTY DOWN to get DVD release dates (EVERWOOD season three and four wouldn’t hurt either!)
Another hold-over from last year: For the proverbial powers that be to look at the success of JJ Abrams STAR TREK reboot and say “make it so” to a new weekly television series.
Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men, Yada, yada, yada.

Thanks for the great site! Happy Holidays and while you’re wishing, would it kill FOX to move FRINGE to another day?

  • SeaKo

    My wishes?

    * The return of the Bastard Child (aka Podcast)
    * Daniel would reply to the emails sent to him…

  • SpartaChris

My wish? All reality TV be seen for the crap it is and removed completely from the airwaves.

  • David

I finally gave up 90210 & Melrose Place, they were always the last shows to watch on my DVR and I was never excited about them. I just dropped The Good Wife for the same reason. Thankful for Lost, V, White Collar, & Glee for giving me something to watch on Tuesdays.

  • BulletproofMilk

Happy Holidays to you and Arie!

As for wishes, I’m gonna join SeaKo in hoping for the return of the Bastard Child. *g* Oh, and for Scrubs to be put out of its misery.

  • Kyle

AGREED! About 90210 definately! and altho Melrose is DEF getting better, I know it’s a goner!

BUT 90210, that is an awesome show! ppl really DO need to jump on that, it’s NOT the teen soapy show that ppl think it is, and it’s def. NOTHING compared to last season, SO MUCH better!

David, you’re def missing out if you took it off your DVR!

  • Happy Holidays to u, Mac, and Arie. -)

  • Dave

My wishes besides a few of your own.(Very much wishing Lost finale is amazing)

-A movie in some form of The Shield. I really wouldn’t like it to take place after the series, but it would be cool to have some kind of side story movie that took place somewhere along the way in the series.
-One Tree Hill to continue on an upward swing when it returns after the holidays.
-For life unexpected to be good and hopefully a big hit.

  • “For the proverbial powers that be to look at the success of JJ Abrams STAR TREK reboot and say “make it so” to a new weekly television series.”

    Hear! Hear! 🙂

    I’ll add to that:
May Caprica live up to its expectations
May V have no further impediments on its road to success
May viewers be reacquainted to the wonders of Fringe
May The Vampire Diaries continue to be such a pleasant (and often scary) surprise

  • Josh Emerson

    I have a few wishes!

    – I want Friends released on Blu-ray. It would be so cool to see that show in HD.
    – Veronica Mars movie, of course
    – Pushing Daisies movie
    – The survival of Modern Family and Cougar Town despite airing against Idol
    – More TV on DVD deals (just got Pushing Daisies on Blu-ray for $14.99!)
