I hope the Emmy voters don’t take note. There is no way Glee or True Blood should win anything at the Emmys. I wouldn’t dislike TBBT winning, but I’d still go with 30 Rock or Modern Family instead. And for Drama, it’s gotta be Dexter.

That USA show sounds pretty good.

  • Dave

The choice awards just seem a joke with some of the winners. Makes it just seem like another MTV movie awards.

  • Emily

Oh, dammit! *I* wanted to marry Jared Padalecki! Life isn’t fair.

Oh, by the way, you listed TBBT twice under shows that won for the PCAs. I’m very happy it won too, but listing it twice is a little redundant. 😉 (Also happy Supernatural and Alyson Hannigan won!)

And the President better not mess with Lost, man.

  • Hil

The President already knocked Chuck off once and now LOST? Can’t he aim at bad tv instead? Or how about they just drop the ridiculous habit of forcing it to air on every available station possible. I only get the most basic of cables and 90% of the channels show his head with various levels of magenta and yellow. After flipping through and comparing the attractiveness of the film quality between competing stations and noting the half second difference in audio there isn’t much else to do. Reading transcripts later is what any serious follower of politics does anyway.

With respect to our neighbours to the south, I hope that Obama’s SotU doesn’t interrupt the Canadian broadcast of the LOST premiere…

Haha, it is so true! I bet you that is what at least 50% of people do. I get much more out of reading a summary of the speech the next day, but my husband loves to watch them. I do wish he had done it this week though when most things are still in repeats. Then everyone wins!
