Available Now: The TV Addict Week in Review

Inspired by Movieline and in anticipation of this Wednesday’s Apple’s announcement that will more than likely signal the beginning of the end for traditional print media, this TV Addict thought it might be fun to start highlighting a look back on the week in television that was in nostalgic magazine form (And yes, we realize we may have a just little too much free time on our hands!)

This week on theTVaddict.com we offered up 5 reasons why you should tune into the CW’s newest hit LIFE UNEXPECTED, 5 celebs who should be given the opportunity to host SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE over Ashton Kutcher (again!) and interviews with THE DEEP END’s Tina Majorino and Matt Long, UGLY BETTY’s Ana Ortiz and Tony Plana, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’ Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, and 24′s Mary Lynn Rajskub.

Next fall, I see LUX on Mon. at 8pm (the old 7th Heaven slot), anchoring it for the next 5 years; followed by One Tree Hill.

Move Gossip Girl to Wed. at 9pm, and hope that Tuesdays pick up. But I’d have at least two quality 13-episode replacements ready.

CW also needs to address the Fri. 9pm slot, adding something fresh.

I like timeslot-sharing (like what’s happening on Mondays right now). It cuts down on repeats, and introduces viewers to potential new hits without the full 22-eps. commitment. The more shows, the better.
