Before we start, I have a confession to make. Although your performance and on-screen relationship with Silver has completely won me over, I was one of many who when it was first announced that you were joining the show, thought that at 28, you may been a wee bit too old to play “high school!”
Trevor Donovan: [Laughs] So did I and I really appreciate that. Because believe me, when they cast me my first reaction was, “Are you serious?” I’m twice Teddy’s age, but it’s been great.

ProVile: Elizabeth Mitchell Teases Tonight’s Return of V
On a uncharacteristically-chilly day in beautiful Vancouver British Columbia, I stood, waiting patiently alongside a group of of reporters for some much needed sustenance after a very long morning spent on one of the very cold sets of ABC’s V. Tired, cold — and did I mention hungry? — we stood.
And then, she appeared.
A beautiful woman with blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes, taking the time to introduce herself to each of us, welcoming us to the set and making note of each of our names. Just like that, we forgot about the cold or the fact that it had been a long morning. Gone were the hunger pangs. (Okay, fine, I’ll admit, if someone had asked me to choose between basking in her glow or slipping over to a craft services cart for a bagel, I’d have at least hesitated before going the martyr route.)
She introduced herself to us as if any introduction were needed. Because, let’s face it: Show me a television writer unfamiliar with Elizabeth Mitchell, and I’ll show you a poser. But while Mitchell may be one of the most popular actresses currently working on the small screen, she swears that this is a relatively new phenomenon.
“I was such a dork and nerd in high school and was so massively unpopular,” she says, explaining during our exclusive chat why she goes out of her way to be some welcoming. “I try and treat people the way I wish I was treated at 16.”
In other words, Mitchell is as warm as Katherine Heigl is chilly while offering up details on V’s high-anticipated return (Erica vs. Anna? Yeah, we’re so there!), her alter ego’s love life and, of course, whether or not she’ll be putting in another appearance on a certain time-hoppin’ island.

Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Questions with V Star Logan Huffman
How on earth does a kid from Indiana become one of the stars of a high profile network series?
Logan Huffman: It’s kind of a weird story. I like history a lot and I used to make gladiator weapons in my garage. My next door neighbour, who taught voice, movement and stage combat would come by, look at what I was doing and say, “You’re building that wrong!” He started telling me about what he taught, and not thinking about college much thought maybe that would be a good thing to do. It was Christmas and he had me over and I did a monologue for him. I later found out he thought I could take directions well so he sent me to a Master Meisner teacher, Katherine Gattely. I sold my car, moved to Chicago and lived there off and on for a year and a half. From there I moved to New York, had a manger who passed away, got the people I’m with currently and it’s all good. The hardest part for me is that I’m a nobody. I’ve got no family in this business, I’m not the son of casting director, I’m just a stupid kid from Indiana who likes what he does and it’s the only thing I’m good at. People took a risk on me. Yves Simoneau, who directed V’s first four episodes also directed me in my first big break, a lifetime movie called AMERICA with Rosie O’Donnell. Without Rosie, I wouldn’t have a career. She was the one who said, “I want that long haired boy from New York!”>

Before You Save One Show, Please Read This!
It’s that time of year again. That magical time when Kristin Dos Santos forces us television addicts to make the TV equivalent of Sophie’s Choice by posting her annual and often times highly contentious “Save One Show” Campaign: Your chance to save your favorite ‘on the bubble’ series from cancellation. It’s a big decision, one that over the past decade has successfully contributed to rescuing shows such as FELICITY, ANGEL and ONE TREE HILL from joining the likes of JACK & BOBBY, GROSSE POINTE and FREAKS AND GEEKS in that brilliant-but-canceled graveyard in the sky. Which is why, before you head on over to cast your vote, we wanted to give you a few, well, a few unexpected things to think about.
But before you do, here are the twenty shows that Kristin has included in this year’s poll: ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE, BETTER OFF TED, CASTLE, CHUCK, FLASHFORWARD, THE FORGOTTEN, GHOST WHISPERER, HEROES, HUMAN TARGET, LIFE UNEXPECTED, MEDIUM, MELROSE PLACE, MERCY, NUMB3RS, ONE TREE HILL, PARENTHOOD, SCRUBS, SONS OF TUCSON, TRAUMA, and V.
10 Things we learned from the cast of 10 THINGS WE HATE ABOUT YOU
1. Nobody remembers ALIENS IN AMERICA.
Before we dove into chatting about tonight’s return of 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU with stars Lindsey Shaw and Ethan Peck last week, we’d would have been remiss if we didn’t take a moment to reminisce about one of our all-time favorite brilliant-but-cancelled gems: The CW’s short-lived laugher ALIENS IN AMERICA starring a then known Dan Byrd (COUGAR TOWN), Adhir Kaylan (RULES OF ENGAGEMENT), Amy Pietz, Scott Patterson and of course Shaw herself. “OMG! You are one of six people who must have watched!” said an only semi-serious Lindsey Shaw who was most definitely taken aback by the mention of her previous starring series. “Very rarely do I get ALIENS IN AMERICA fans talking to me, but when they do, it feels so good because the show never really got recognized and was really cool.”
