WATCH: 2010 MTV MOVIE AWARDS (9PM MTV)
After-all, a team of MTV executives and social media mavens have been working virtually around the clock to dream-up, concoct, and stage that one “Oh-No-Miley/Britney/Bombshell McGee-Didn’t-Just-Do-That!” moment in the hopes that it will go viral. Do you really want to be the one to have all their hard work go to waste?

PVR/DVR: THE MAKING OF THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER (7PM NBC)
As per 30 ROCK’s Jack Donaghy, it’s corporate synergy at its finest when NBC dedicates this hour long infomercial to fawning over Parent Company Universal’s newest theme park. As per Liz Lemon, “We [so] want to go to there.”

PASS: JERSEY SHORE BLOW-OUT AT THE MOVIES (8PM MTV)
Two things we never ever want to see in a sentence together, “Blow-out” and “Snooki,” we’re just sayin’

How can anyone who calls themselves a TV addict recommend MTV “Movie” Awards and not frakking Breaking Bad? Boo!

Love the return of actual commentary to the daily listings. Keep it up!

  • Since I'm over the age of 15, I'll be watching the NBA Finals and passing on all 3 of these abominations

I'll DVR the MTV awards. Aziz Ansari is awesome.

  • Twilight wins everything………mtv failed

  • Josh,
Having just fast-forwarded through most of the Awards that didn't feature Aziz Ansari I will just say this… I feel dirty. Between the shameless pandering to Twilight fans, and the fact that every actor who appeared on stage was pimping a movie, it makes me sad how crass and commercial the entire 'award' show has turned in.

Oh, and the ridiculous attempt on behalf of MTV to censor the swearing. To borrow a line from THE SIMPSON's Helen Lovejoy, “Won't someone think of the children!”
