WATCH: LIE TO ME/THE GOOD GUYS (8PM FOX, Global in Canada)
Following countless summers spent clamouring about the lack of quality scripted programming, it would appear as though FOX finally got the message. The only question remaining now is when they air it, will you watch? Count us among those who will, particularly when the alternative are repeats of CBS and CW shows, THE BACHELORETTE on ABC and inexpensive reality TV over on NBC.

PVR/DVR: PERSONS UNKNOWN (10PM NBC)
Despite our apprehension with regards to any series NBC decides to burn-off in the summer, Maureen Ryan’s surprise endorsement coupled with a Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) credit has us curious enough to give this unknown entity a week or two.

PASS: LARRY KING LIVE (9PM CNN)
Unless of course you enjoy listening to self-proclaimed “King of the World” James Cameron discuss an oil spill the size of his ego.
