Wow, so people were pretty wrong with their predictions. I'm happy for all of the Lost and Modern Family people. And they didn't nominate Charlie Sheen, so apparently they aren't crazy. The only one I really wish was on there that isn't would be John Noble.

  • I was so thrilled upon hearing Kyle Chandler's name! FNL actors finally get the nominations they deserve. I would've wanted Zach Gilford added into the mix; but I guess we can't have everything…

I'm generally happy with the new names/faces this year.

  • Nick

To paraphrase Michael from 'Lost': “SHALOUUUUUUUBBBBB!?”

Nurse Jackie for comedy? Emmy just can't let go of those Sopranos ties. Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jon Cryer for supporting? Nice guys…but, really?

    Toughest category: Supporting Comedy Actress.

Go Shirley Jones and Betty White!

  • Abby

So excited to see Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton! Finally! It was also cool to see Sharon Gless on the list 🙂

  • Right there with you about John Noble.

  • Linda B.

Why is Nurse Jackie in the comedy category? It's a good show, but more of a drama than something funny.

  • Nick

Just read: Tony Shaloub….8 years of Monk, 8 Emmy nominations for Best Actor.

Eight years of clogging up this category. How is such a thing justified, voters?

  • Amy_D259

Wow did Glee ever sweep nominations. I'm happy for Lynch and Colfer and NPH but it's really kind of ridiculous. The show is good but it isn't that good.

Generally happy withe nominations. Extremely pleased about Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler 🙂 Same goes for anything Lost.

Only sadness for me was not seeing Sandra Oh or Chandra Wilson. Although I guess they've been nominated enough but still.

Quite a shock to see True Blood up there.

  • No Grey's Noms at all?

  • Nick

Shocking, isn't it? Grey's is soooo noted for its first-rate actors. (what's the symbol for rolling eyes?….I could hardly type that sentence without laughing.)

  • I thought this was a dream list when I read Chandler and Britton. I am so glad they are finally recognized. I would have wanted Joel McHale in place of Matthew Morrison, who I think was more dramatic than funny.

  • Seriously?!

Chandra Wilson should be up there!
