    I think The Office should promote from within. They've got a really strong cast to choose from. Why bring in someone new? Ed Helms would probably be my choice. Craig Robinson is good too, although I don't think it would make sense for him to go from the warehouse to managing the office.

    As long as Dwight isn't promoted. That would be too ridiculous.

    If you're thinking in terms of the closest to Michael Scott, Ed Helms definitely has the most potential as the “clueless” boss. That said, if they're bringing in a new boss, my feeling is that they have to go with something incredibly different. A lesser version of Michael Scott isn't funny. Craig Robinson would certainly be interesting. Really anybody but Dwight who is only tolerable in a supporting capacity.
