    I think The Office should promote from within. They've got a really strong cast to choose from. Why bring in someone new? Ed Helms would probably be my choice. Craig Robinson is good too, although I don't think it would make sense for him to go from the warehouse to managing the office.

    As long as Dwight isn't promoted. That would be too ridiculous.

  • If you're thinking in terms of the closest to Michael Scott, Ed Helms definitely has the most potential as the “clueless” boss. That said, if they're bringing in a new boss, my feeling is that they have to go with something incredibly different. A lesser version of Michael Scott isn't funny. Craig Robinson would certainly be interesting. Really anybody but Dwight who is only tolerable in a supporting capacity.
