An In Depth Look At… Family Feud, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Style!

Over the years, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Victor has waged battles against — and emerged victorious over — everyone from Jack Abbott to Death himself. But this week, he’ll find himself involved in his more personal war yet when daughters Victoria and Abby decide it’s time to Victor paid for his sins!

“Victor doesn’t approve of anything his daughters do these days,” previews Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms. “Abby has been doffing her clothes at every opportunity, and Victoria married an Abbott. Frankly, it’s somewhat surprising that Victor’s head hasn’t exploded!”

As entertaining as that might be, for now, viewers will have to settle for watching the tempermental tycoon blow his stack. “With a little help from Jack, Abby’s filed a lawsuit against her father based on the fact he misappropriated her trust fund.” In the past, Victor has pretty much dismissed Abby’s antics… but that’s going to be a lot harder to do when she winds up getting support from big sis Victoria! “Family is everything to Victor,” says the editor. “So what happens off of this betrayal will be huge!”

Elsewhere in the current issue, look for an interview with Julia Pace Mitchell (Sofia), who loves the idea of her Y&R alter ego facing off with Victoria Rowell’s Dru, and a chat with THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Patrick Duffy (Stephen). On a sad note, the mag walks down Memory Lane with the cast of AS THE WORLD TURNS, who share their personal favorite moments. And Van Hansis (Luke, ATWT) walks away the winner of this week’s Gold Star for his performances during the soap’s final days!
