Just because the Big Four (Yes, we’re talking to you ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC) made it virtually impossible to sample their new Fall offerings by inexplicably scheduling most of them up against both each other and a slew of returning favorites last week, doesn’t mean that it’s too late for you to jump on the bandwagon. In fact, courtesy of the wonder that is the modern day series of tubes we like to call the internet, there are a multitude of options should you regret last week’s decision to watch THE EVENT over say FOX’s LONE STAR. Wow, really cool of you to put this together. A few of the NBC and ABC shows are also On Demand if your cable provider has that. I watched a lot of them, but honestly the only one I really liked was Lone Star. So, of course, it is the one on the brink of cancellation.

  • Seriously, REALLY cool of you to do. This must have taken some time to get together. *Claps*

Now… Everyone catch up on Lone Star and WATCH it tonight. It was legit. a good show so come on now!

  • I saw the pilot of Lone Star on a flight two weeks ago, and the pilot for The Event last week when it aired. I wish I'd just watched Lone Star twice.

I have to say I actually disliked Lone Star. The lack of morals and the lack of awareness of what consequences the main guy's actions would have was vey off-putting for me. I like Adrianne Palicki and the guy whose name I can't rember were okay, but the story failed me. It felt stupid IMO.

For me Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0 and The Whole Truth have been the most promising. During the summer I've come to love The Good Guys (Bradley Whitford is just brilliant!).
