Sometimes, GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Jax is a little too nice for his own good. But that’s one thing nobody in Port Charles would ever say about his dastardly brother, Jerry. This week, the bad brother’s return puts Jax in the position of saving the people he loves. But how far is Jax really willing to go?
“Jax loves his wife, his daughter and Brenda,” says Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms. “And while the order may be in question — especially since Brenda has returned to town — one thing is certain: Jax has finally learned that Jerry is a raging psychopath. In the past, Jax has managed to somehow sort of overlook the things his brother has done.”
And let’s be clear: We’re not talking about little things like forgetting to send their mom, Lady Jane, a birthday card, but rather things like taking people hostage or shooting Robin, widely acknowledged as one of the nicest people in town. “Jerry is not a nice guy,” says Simms with a laugh. “And that’s an understatement!”
This week, Jax may be forced to deal with his brother once and for all. “It’s become pretty clear that Jerry is either working for The Balkan. Heck, given his history, it wouldn’t be too much of a leap to assume Jerry is The Balkan.” But what will happen when Jerry puts both Brenda and Carly’s lives in danger?
