  • BOOOOO to:
    Matthew Morrison? Come on
    The Walking Dead.

Glad Kelly MacDonald got a nomination.

  • Denise

At least TV Drama Actor noms make sense. I will never, ever understand the award love for Glee. Ever.

  • Dave

I’m not disgusted or anything. Lea Michele’s Best Actress slot should’ve gone to Mary Louise Parker for a VASTLY improved season of Weeds, though.

  • Fmpeacock

Interesting how kyra sedgeWick gets nominated but not her show. Where is the cast of Ncis? The most watched shows don’t get recognized like many of the most successful movies don’t get nominated or win anything.

They wonder why the shows have poor viewer participation? The don’t represent what people like,

Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison? Not even in the same company with other comedy greats.

But are we to believe that The Good Wife is THE BEST drama on network TV…and that no other network drama is better or equal to any drama on cable? That’s what the nominations say. So I guess we just overlook the best drama ever, Lost, right?

Is it any wonder Hollywood is not taking the Golden Globes very seriously anymore? No credibility, just like the Emmys.

  • Kelsey

No nominations for shows like Friday Night Lights but Glee gets nominated? Will not be watching the awards this year.

  • DeB

There is also a show called Fringe on fox..the more it gets better the more it is ignored.

  • Roberta_lavigne

A fala sério cadê LOST ate ”the big bang theory” está na lista podree está série. LOST merece pelo menos um premiozinho acabou msmo.!!! Não gostei desta lista!!!

  • Rightisright

No Community? There is nothing else that even comes close to being this good.

  • Sweeney

    Dexter!

  • hilsto

No Fringe? Not even an acting nod of any kind? I mean…I *like* Covert Affairs but there is this actress named Anna Torv who needs all of the awards. Like a case of them. This list gets a resounding meh from me. I like some of the shows but the only surprises on the lists are surprises for the wrong reasons. I guess I’ll wait for next year when the Game of Thrones cast swoops in and ruins things for years to come.

Neil Patrick Harris doesn’t even get nominated now? Ridiculous. Yet Glee gets countless undeserved nominations.

I do like seeing The Big Bang Theory break through with nominations for both the show and Parsons.

I love that Julia Stiles got nominated for Dexter. It was a great season for the show. One of these days it really should win for Best Drama Series.

  • kevin

i can’t believe community got snubbed. plus, they need to stop nominating people for comedy awards who have characters that are not funny. matthew morrison and edie falco do not play funny characters.

  • Indeed! While it’s hard to rail against Jane Lynch who is genuinely funny, Matthew Morrison is the biggest downer on the show.

  • hilsto

Oh and I am also baffled why Matthew Morrison’s constipated style of acting keeps getting noms. Really? Did Tony Shalhoub pass him the immunity idol or something?

  • JessicaRae

I’ll never understand why Supernatural never gets nominated for these flashy awards. Maybe I’m not understanding it and the CW network’s shows are not eligible? Or maybe the awards has blinders on for anything on the CW and therefore doesn’t even acknowledge Supernatural. The writing for SN is above par and the acting of one Jensen Ackles in particular is deserving of acknowledgment.

It is a shame, a real shame. Then again, if SN is not eligible for the Golden Globes… Eh.
