Our 2010 TV Year in Review (Part V)
Best New Comedy: How can we not give this to RAISING HOPE? Any show that has a grandma say of the family’s new addition, “Maybe your baby is just a bitch?” is okay in our book.
Worst Trend: Fewer episodes, more reruns.
Stunt Casting Gone Awry, Daytime Division: Yes, yes, GENERAL HOSPITAL. We saw James Franco the first time he brought his freak show to Port Charles. And the second. Now, you’re telling us there’s a third and a fourth visit slated? How’s that working out for you ratings wise?
Stunt Casting Gone Awry, Primetime Division: Hey, GLEE, how about you stop featuring a new big-name guest star each week and instead focus on stories for the characters we actually care about.
Best Mid-Season Cliffhanger: Explosions and cylons and suicides, oh my! CAPRICA gave us the most exciting finale since the Borg kidnapped Captain Jean-Luc Picard and ended with the ominous line, “I am Locutus of Borg.”

Our 2010 TV Year in Review (Part IV)
Most Shocking Finale: GREY’S ANATOMY unleashed a shooter on the staff and kept us on the edge of our seats.
Best New Series, Kickass Division: Fun dialogue, sexy subplots and action sequences to die for make NIKITA — and star Maggie Q — the one to beat. Not that you could if you tried.
Most Promising Cliffhanger, Never-Resolved Division: In the final moments of FLASHFORWARD, the world experienced another blackout before the screen went dark for the final time.
Summer Series Most In Need Of A Facelift: Everything about BIG BROTHER has become stale, including host Julie Chen. Well, she hasn’t “become” stale. She always was.

Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Most Annoying TV Characters of 2010
Chris Kattan as Bob, THE MIDDLE
The best thing about season two of the laughfest? That we’ve spent a lot less time following Frankie to the car lot and, as a result, not had to endure the painfully unfunny antics of her insecure co-worker. Kattan is naturally funny… this part, however, isn’t.
Diedrich Bader as Charlie, OUTSOURCED
When this show launched, we expected to be offended by the cultural stereotypes. Instead, the most offensive thing has been Bader’s alter ego. On a show that’s often surprisingly sweet, his obnoxious character is the one we most want to export from the series.
Morning Static: COMMUNITY, DOCTOR WHO, CONAN & More!
• In case you missed it, the Top 5 COMMUNITY Easter Eggs.
• Spoiler Free Tease: Saturday’s DOCTOR WHO Special.
• Oh No He Didn’t! UGLY BETTY’s Mark Indelicato has a few choice words for GLEE’s Chris Colfer.
• Conan Shocker! What happens when Sarah Palin meets Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
• Editor’s Note: We’ve Added a two fantastic last minute entries to our EXTREME MAKEOVER: TV Guide Magazine Edition.

Our 2010 TV Year in Review (Part III)
Best Break-up: In the often over-the-top world of BROTHERS & SISTERS, Scotty and Kevin’s marital woes provided some of the season’s best drama.
The Maybe-This-Thing-Has-Run-It’s-Course Award: We still love SVU, the the L.A.-based version of LAW & ORDER is the redheaded-stepchild of the franchise.
Most Undignified Death (Spoiler Alert!): Poor Tom Shayes of DAMAGES wound up being drowned in a toilet bowl.
Best Real Guest On A Fake News Show: Whenever Brian Williams spars with Jon Stewart on THE DAILY SHOW, a good time is guaranteed.

Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Celebrities We’d Love to See Less (Or None) of in 2011
Piers Morgan
During his stint on THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, the tabloider-turned-reality ho claimed not to know who Omarossa was or why she was a star. Later, he lost the respect of Stephen Baldwin, who said he should be fired for his antics. People, when you lose the respect of Stephen Baldwin? Yeah, it’s time to call it quits.
The Pratts
After Spencer was arrested for trying to board a plane with a gun, he was banned from the country of Costa Rica. Quick. Someone book him and Heidi on the next flight from here to anywhere.
