GLEE’s Post Super-Bowl Episode to Feat. Justin Bieber

This just in: Getting back to the basics of actual plot development and coherent storytelling may not have been on GLEE co-creator Ryan Murphy’s New Year’s Resolution list this year. How else to explain, the news that GLEE’s first post Super-Bowl episode will feature the cast covering several songs from the Canadian pop star’s catalogue.

According to Michael Ausiello, “Details are still sketchy, but I’m told the episode — tentatively scheduled to air on Feb. 15 — will feature the cast covering several of the teen phenom’s songs. Bieber himself will also figure into the episode’s plot, although there are no plans for him to appear in the flesh. At least not as of this writing.” According to us, which ever member of “Team Bieber” is responsible for orchestrating this ingenious platform in which to promote Bieber’s 3D movie Never Say Never which just so happens to open a mere four days earlier (February 11), deserves a huge raise.

That is unfortunate. And, possibly the final nail in the coffin of why I haven’t started watching Glee yet…

    This makes me so… angry.

In the words of William Schuester: “It takes years to build a good reputation, and only seconds to destroy it.”
And that is exactly what Ryan Murphy is doing to Glee. Destroying it piece by piece.

Good grief. I was upset over the Britney Spears episode but hoped it was just one bad decision 🙁 and not a trend!

It’s the second episode after the Super Bowl

Alright. I’ve had enough here. I got pumped for the news that came this morning about Glee teaming up again with Gaga, Gwenyth, and Kristin Chenoweth but this is too much. I’ll show up for those other episodes and maybe check in every once in a while but I think I’ve had enough. This is absolutely ridiculous. R.I.P. Glee.
