Glee’s win is such BS. That show is a joke. Once again I’ll say it, it’s by far the most overrated show on TV.

  • Disappointed that GLEE beat MODERN FAMILY, but not surprised.

Hey I thought you supported Glee? As much as I like Modern Family I find its quality to be slipping just as much as Glee’s lately. However, they are both deserving and great shows.

Agreed. I watch and enjoy Glee, but I consider it winning awards about as ridiculous as Gossip Girl winning an award. It is insanely uneven. Modern Family (and Community and Cougar Town for that matter) are consistently hilarious.

I also watch and enjoy Boardwalk Empire and love Steve Buscemi on it, but this year should have belonged to Mad Men and especially Jon Hamm. Oh well, you can’t take any award show that nominates JLoHew, Burlesque and The Tourist…

  • Nick

Glee really doesn’t belong in the Comedy category (how many times do you actually *laugh* during a show, apart from Sue S.?). Same dilemma that voters have wrestled with for Desperate Housewives and Gilmore Girls in the past. Maybe there needs to be a Musical series category…including Glee, Idol, and any other song/dance shows. I’d vote, hands-down, for Gee then!
