Breaking News: Warner Bros. TV and CBS Finally Stop Finding Charlie Sheen’s Antics Funny

Fresh off Charlie Sheen’s you-have-to-read-it-to-believe-it rant, CBS and Warner Bros. have jointly agreed to put TWO AND A HALF MEN on early hiatus. Said both companies in a statement released to the media mere moments ago, “Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season.”

  • That was the sensible thing to do the first three or four times this happened. At least they finally stumbled into a solution. The rest of the cast deserved to know where they stood. Of course the show gets great ratings even as reruns so the wound to their schedule is superficial even with the extra hiatus.

CBS now needs to do the sensible thing and axe the loser from the series altogether. Moonves won’t be held hostage by a drunken, insane man, and neither should the cast and crew. Clearly, Sheen does not appreciate being the highest-paid comedy actor on TV (the biggest joke in H’wood). Cut him loose and we’ll see who would hire such an arrogant, selfish buffoon ever again.

I dare say, the end of the road Sheen is on….no one will really care when it happens. He thinks public support is on “his” side? Shows how deluded the jerk is. He is the poster child for everything that’s wrong and ugly about the entertainment world. I just can’t stand him.
