Emmy Predictions 2011: Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series

In anticipation of the upcoming 63rd Annual EMMY Awards (Airing Sunday September 18th at 8PM on FOX, CTV in Canada) theTVaddict.com is proud [or not-so-proud depending on how things turn out] to once again present our GUARANTEED EMMY WINNERS 2011*

NOMINEES: Jane Lynch (GLEE), Betty White (HOT IN CLEVELAND), Julie Bowen (MODERN FAMILY), Kristen Wiig (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE), Jane Krakowski (30 ROCK), Sofia Vergara (MODERN FAMILY)

SHOULD WIN: Jane Krakowski, 30 ROCK
Since choosing between the equally delightful MODERN FAMILY mommies (Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara) is all but impossible, we’ve opted to take the easy way out and throw our support behind 30 ROCK’s unsung hero, Jane “There is more to the genius that is 30 ROCK than just Tina Fey” Krakowski.

WILL WIN: Jane Lynch, GLEE
And not just because Sue Sylvester scares the bejesus out of us (Oaky, maybe a little.)

While Daisy Haggard’s hapless head of comedy development may not have warranted the screen time for an Emmy nomination, the talented actress does have the distinction of being the only character on television last year to have us howling with laughter with a mere facial reaction.

*theTVaddict.com does not guarantee his “winning picks.” Do not, I repeat, Do not bet the house, kids or family pet on them!

  • Ace

My vote is with Sofia.  I think a lot of people think that the laughs from her acting come from the accent, but they are overlooking her great sense of timing.

  • As much as I think Jane is such a great actress the material she was given in season two was just sad. Martha gets my vote.
