Spoiler Alert! We Preview CASTLE’s Game-Changer of a Season Premiere

castle the rise beckett

Good News: Your very own TV Addict just had the pleasure of screening CASTLE’s much-anticipated September 19th season premiere. Bad News: On the condition that we don’t, under any circumstances, reveal — and we quote — “any information about Beckett’s [redacted] words in the episode.” Luckily for fans of the hit ABC series, said aforementioned request on behalf of ABC’s publicity department didn’t mention anything about words associated with Alexis (Molly C. Quinn), Josh (Victor Webster) and newly appointed Precinct Captain Victoria “Iron” Gates (Penny Johnson Jerald), all three of whom had an awful lot to say on the subject of Castle, his increasingly dangerous relationship with Kate and what exactly he’s still doing playing author turned cop (Or as Captain Gates so eloquently put it, “Dilettante Writer turned Cop.”)

In short, fans who have been patiently waiting all summer long to find out what happens following the shocking aftermath of Beckett’s shooting and Castle’s admission of “I love you” will not be disappointed, particularly when it comes to the somewhat unexpected direction that creator Andrew Marlowe has decided to take the show’s central will-they-or-won’t-they-couple. Add to that a handful of truly memorable moments for Ryan and Esposito, not to mention some juicy new intel surrounding the ever-expanding mystery that is the death of Beckett’s mom and we’re fairly confident in proclaiming this upcoming fourth season premiere as being right up there as one of CASTLE’s finest hours to date.

CASTLE returns with new episodes on September 19th at 10PM on ABC (CTV in Canada) and stars Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Susan Sullivan, Molly C. Quinn, Jon Huertas, Tamala Jones, Seamus Dever and Penny Johnson. Catch up with past episodes you may have missed for free online at clicktowatch.tv.

  • The last sentence was everything I wanted to know, I was starting to worry about the episode.
Any words about who Geoff Pierson is playing in the premiere? 🙂

  • If I had to choose one word to describe Geoff Pierson’s character in the premiere I’d go with: Mysterious

  • Liz

Can’t Wait!!  Castle and Beckett are incredibly compelling couple.  I’m sure this season will do them justice.  Not like another show that will remain nameless cough-bones-cough.

And Yay! Ryan and Esposito scenes. 5 days left.

  • mmh, Mysterious as:
    (a) the big mystery of the show
    (b) stated in the ABC press release of the episode
    (c) after the episode we still have no clue about who the hell he is XD
I bet on the first or the third :p

  • 12 days. Castle doesn’t come back til the 19th. :/

  • September 19th, you need to be here NOW!!
