HART OF DIXIE Season Finale First Look: “The Big Day”

Hart of Dixie "The Big Day"

If the flood of emails that inundated our inbox following Monday’s episode of HART OF DIXIE are any indication, an awful lot of you are dying to discover what happens next following an episode that saw poor Zoe left twisting in the wind after George, Lavon and Wade all but turn their backs on her. Well, brace yourself, because things are about to get even more twisted. Literally… thanks to an impending storm that may very well rain on George and Lemon’s parade wedding day while putting Zoe and Wade in position where they have little choice but to talk it out. But hey, don’t take our word for it, get a load of May 14th’s “Big Day” for yourself, after the jump.

Anyone else find Zoe’s sudden, fervent “love” for George completely out of character with every episode leading up to the George/Lemon breakup?  How are we supposed to buy this?  Sure, she and George may have shared a nice moment here and there in the first 18 episodes….but to now see her begging him not to take Lemon back, professing her love, and falling into this deep funk because of his rejection….her feelings were not handled correctly in the writer’s room.

It feels like WAY too much overcompensation for the massive Zoe/Wade romance that had been tentatively building, while most fans regarded George as a stuffy bore.  True?
