Bailey Buntain (Ginny) guest stars on tonight’s episode of THE MIDDLE. And while we can’t promise any Amy Sherman Palladino-esque patter or mind-blowing musical interludes, we can guarantee that there will be plenty of laughs. Particulaly when sophomore Sue decides to take Buntain’s freshman Jenna under her wing. Or at least that was the distinct impression the affable actress left with us following a bubbly one-on-one in which she talked about her guest starring role, the challenges that come with acting opposite the hilarious Eden Sher and what’s next for her character when BUNHEADS returns. ONCE UPON A TIME First Look: “We Are Both”
Despite often getting knocked for its storytelling similarities to LOST based on co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis’ time spent working under Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, one thing you gotta give the ONCE UPON A TIME showrunners credit for is not being stingy about providing answers. Case in point, this Sunday’s episode of the fairytale infused hit ABC series which — when it’s not busy flashing back to the first time Regina and Rumpelstiltskin crossed paths — promises to put an end to the mystery surrounding one of the show’s biggest head scratchers thus far. Namely, why can the denizens of the little town/little quiet village not leave Storybrooke! First look photos of which have been handily posted after the jump. [Read more…]
Reversal of Fortunes?! NBC Gives Full Season Awards to REVOLUTION, THE NEW NORMAL and GO ON
After spending the better part of the last half decade or so as the entertainment media’s primary punching bag, it would appear that the Peacock Network finally has something to strut about.
After two weeks of boffo ratings and buzz, REVOLUTION, THE NEW NORMAL and GO ON are officially the first new shows of the 2012 freshman class to earn full season orders. What’s more, with an assist from the one-two punch that is Sunday NFL Football and a little reality TV juggernaut that is THE VOICE, last week saw NBC beat out all broadcast rivals in the increasingly valuable 18-49 demographic for the first time since 2003. With television talent both in front and behind the camera making a habit of tweeting photos ranging from spoilerific to hilarious, theTVaddict.com thought it might be fun to introduce a new feature to the site that we’ve not-so-cleverly decided to call “Photo of the Day.” Today’s subject, courtesy of COUGAR TOWN star Courteney Cox (@courteneycox) comes a nice little reminder that COUGAR TOWN is in fact returning to television sometime in the not-to-distant future. Tweeted Cox, “Look who came to visit me at work!”

SONS OF ANARCHY Redux: Ode to Opie, a Fallen SAMCRO Hero
Fans everywhere gasped with shock and horror as fan-favorite and beloved Opie Winston (Ryan Hurst) leapt at the chance to martyr himself and save his best friend Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) in last week’s SONS OF ANARCHY episode “Laying Pipe.” The fight that subsequently claimed Opie’s life was brutal and vicious. True to the name of the episode, Opie was given a piece of pipe to defend himself as three other inmates surrounded him and beat him to death. [Read more…]
